The Local Train is a Hindi rock band from New Delhi, India. The band was formed in 2008 and is known for their unique sound that blends together elements of Indian classical music with rock and pop.

The Local Train’s original lineup consisted of Raman Negi on vocals and guitar, Paras Thakur on lead guitar, Ramit Mehra on bass guitar, and Sahil Sarin on drums. Over the years, the lineup has remained the same.

The band has released several albums, including “Aalas Ka Pedh,” “Vaaqif,” and “Choo Lo.” They are known for their energetic live performances and have performed at numerous music festivals and events around the world, including the NH7 Weekender and the South Asian Bands Festival.

In addition to their music, The Local Train has also been involved in various social and philanthropic causes, such as working with organizations to provide education to underprivileged children and raising awareness about mental health issues. They have won several awards for their music, including the Best Rock Artist Award at the Radio City Freedom Awards and the Best Hindi Rock Band Award at the MTV India Music Summit.
