Swarathma is a folk rock band from Bangalore, India. The band was formed in 2002 and is known for their unique sound that blends together elements of Indian folk music with rock and pop.

Swarathma’s original lineup consisted of Vasu Dixit on vocals and guitar, Varun Murali on lead guitar, Pavan Kumar KJ on bass guitar, Sanjeev Nayak on violin, and Joel Milan Baptist on drums. Over the years, the lineup has changed, with various members joining and leaving the band.

The band has released several albums, including “Swarathma,” “Topiwalleh,” and “Raah E Fakira.” They are known for their energetic live performances and have performed at numerous music festivals and events around the world, including the South Asian Bands Festival and the NH7 Weekender.

In addition to their music, Swarathma has also been involved in various social and philanthropic causes, such as working with organizations to provide education to underprivileged children and raising awareness about environmental issues. They have won several awards for their music, including the Best Folk Fusion Band Award at the Radio City Freedom Awards.
