
Rimi Dhar
Rimi Dhar is an Indian playback singer who primarily works in the Assamese film industry. She was born on August 18, 1992, in Guwahati, Assam, India.
Rimi Dhar started her singing career as a child artist and later made her playback singing debut in 2011 with the Assamese film “Jibon Bator Logori”. Since then, she has sung numerous songs in Assamese films, including “Kolija” from the film “Kolija”, “Jonakira” from the film “Mission China“, and “Moina Sorai” from the film “Ratnakar” among others.
Apart from Assamese films, Rimi Dhar has also sung in other languages like Bengali and Hindi. She has collaborated with various music composers in the Indian music industry and has also worked on independent music projects. Rimi Dhar has received several nominations for her work as a playback singer and has won the Prag Cine Awards for Best Female Playback Singer and the Jeng Bihu Award for Best Playback Singer (Female) among others.
