Pankaj Udhas is a renowned Indian ghazal singer and music composer. He was born on May 17, 1951, in Jetpur, Gujarat, India.

Pankaj Udhas started his music career in the 1980s and became known for his soulful and melodious voice. He has released several albums of ghazals and has also worked on playback singing for Hindi films. Some of his popular songs include “Chitthi Aayi Hai” from the movie “Naam” (1986), “Jeeye To Jeeye Kaise” from the movie “Saajan” (1991), and “Ghoonghat Ko Mat Khol” from the movie “Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke” (1993).

Apart from ghazals and playback singing, Pankaj Udhas has also composed and produced music for various films and television shows. He has also collaborated with various musicians and composers on independent music projects.

Pankaj Udhas has received several awards and honors for his work, including the Padma Shri Award in 2006, one of the highest civilian awards in India, for his contributions to the field of music.
