Neerja Pandit is an Indian playback singer known for her work in the Hindi film industry. She was born on May 5, 1967, in Mumbai, India.

Neerja Pandit made her playback singing debut in 1991 with the song “Aaja Re O Mere Dilbar Aaja” from the film “Noorie”. Since then, she has sung several songs in Hindi films, including “Pardesi Pardesi” from the film “Raja Hindustani“, “Mere Haath Mein” from the film “Fanaa”, and “Kabira” from the film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” among others.

Apart from Hindi films, Neerja Pandit has also sung in other Indian languages like Marathi and Bengali. She is known for her soulful and melodious voice and has collaborated with various music composers in the Indian music industry.
