Manjari
Manjari is an Indian playback singer who has primarily worked in the Bollywood film industry. She was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1978, and started her musical journey by learning classical music at a young age.
Manjari’s career began in the early 2000s, and she quickly gained recognition for her melodious voice and versatile singing style. She has sung in several languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, and Assamese.
Some of her most popular songs include “Bol Na Halke Halke” from the film “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom,” “Khabar Nahi” from the film “Dostana,” “Tere Bina” from the film “Guru,” and “Aadha Ishq” from the film “Band Baaja Baaraat.” She has also collaborated with several renowned composers and singers, including A.R. Rahman, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and Sonu Nigam.
Apart from Bollywood, Manjari has also performed in several concerts and music festivals, including the prestigious Dover Lane Music Conference in Kolkata. She has also released several albums of devotional and classical music.
Manjari has been nominated for several awards for her contributions to music, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. Her song “Bol Na Halke Halke” won her the IIFA Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2008.
