Kavita Seth is an Indian singer known for her soulful and melodious voice. She was born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1970. Kavita Seth began her musical journey with devotional music and later moved to ghazals, Sufi music, and Bollywood playback singing.

Her breakthrough came with the song “Iktara” from the Bollywood film “Wake Up Sid” in 2009. The song was a huge hit and won her several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. She has also sung popular songs like “Tum Hi Ho Bandhu” from the film “Cocktail,” “Jeete Hain Chal” from the film “Neerja,” and “Murabba” from the film “Bombay Talkies.”

Apart from Bollywood, Kavita Seth is also known for her Sufi and ghazal music performances. She has released several albums of Sufi and ghazal music, including “Sufiana,” “Khuda Wohi Hai,” and “Ranjishen.” She has collaborated with several renowned musicians and has performed at various music festivals and concerts in India and abroad.

Kavita Seth has won several awards for her contributions to music, including the Zee Cine Award, the IIFA Award, and the Mirchi Music Award. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri Award, one of the highest civilian awards in India, for her contribution to music.
