Kanika Kapoor is an Indian singer known for her work in Bollywood films. She was born on March 23, 1981, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Kanika Kapoor started her career as a model and later turned to singing. She rose to fame with her debut song “Jugni Ji” in 2012, which became a huge hit and earned her much recognition. Some of her other popular songs include “Baby Doll” from the film “Ragini MMS 2”, “Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan” from the film “Roy”, and “Beat Pe Booty” from the film “A Flying Jatt“.
In March 2020, Kanika Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from London and was criticized for attending parties and events despite having symptoms and not following quarantine protocols. She was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Lucknow and later recovered from the virus.
