Hard Kaur
Hard Kaur, born as Taran Kaur Dhillon on July 29, 1979, is a British-Indian rapper and hip-hop artist. She gained popularity for her bold and energetic style, and she is considered one of the pioneering female artists in the Indian music industry.
Hard Kaur was born and raised in a Punjabi Sikh family in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. She later moved to the United Kingdom and pursued her passion for music. Her breakthrough came with the hit song “Ek Glassy” in 2007, which became a chart-topper and established her as a prominent figure in the Indian hip-hop scene.
Known for her unique blend of Punjabi and English lyrics, Hard Kaur’s music encompasses various genres, including hip-hop, rap, and R&B. She has collaborated with renowned artists and producers, both in India and internationally, and her songs often carry strong social and political messages.
