Dhruv Sangari
Dhruv Sangari, also known as Bilal Chishty, is an Indian classical and Sufi musician. He was born on December 15, 1976, in New Delhi, India.
Dhruv Sangari’s musical journey began at a young age with training in various forms of Indian classical music, including Hindustani and Carnatic music. He is also a trained Sufi singer and has performed at various Sufi festivals and events in India and abroad. Dhruv Sangari is known for his soulful renditions of Sufi poetry and has released several albums, including “Rasiya”, “Ishq Sufiyana”, and “Jashn-e-Qalam” among others.
Apart from his work as a Sufi musician, Dhruv Sangari is also a known poet and author. He has published several books of poetry and has also written on Sufi philosophy and mysticism. Dhruv Sangari is also involved in various music education initiatives and conducts workshops and classes on Indian classical music and Sufi music.
Dhruv Sangari has received several honors and awards for his contribution to Indian music and poetry, including the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar and the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar. He continues to be an active musician and poet and is known for his unique and soulful approach to Sufi music and poetry.
