Bhavatharini, also known as Bhavatharini Ilaiyaraaja, is an Indian playback singer and composer. She was born on February 9, 1979, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Bhavatharini is the daughter of renowned Indian composer Ilaiyaraaja, and she belongs to a family with a rich musical background.
Bhavatharini started her singing career in the Tamil film industry and has since ventured into composing music as well. She made her playback singing debut in 1997 with the song “Nenjukkulle” from the movie “Kadhal Kottai.” Her soulful and expressive voice quickly gained attention, and she became a popular choice for both romantic and melodious songs.
