Antara Mitra is an Indian playback singer who primarily works in the Bollywood film industry. She gained popularity when she participated in the second season of the singing reality show “Indian Idol” in 2006, where she was a finalist. Antara has since then lent her voice to several hit songs in Hindi movies, including “Bheegi Si Bhaagi Si” from the movie “Raajneeti”, “Gerua” from “Dilwale”, and “Jiya Re” from “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”.
