Kavita Seth is an Indian singer who primarily works in the Indian film industry. She was born on September 17, 1970, in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Kavita started her music career in the 1990s and has recorded songs for several Bollywood films, including “Dev.D,” “Talaash,” “Shaadi Ke Side Effects,” and “Jab Tak Hai Jaan,” among others. She is best known for her song “Iktara” from the film “Wake Up Sid,” which became a huge hit and won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2010.

Apart from film music, Kavita has also released several albums of devotional and Sufi music. She has collaborated with several renowned artists and has performed in various music festivals across India and abroad.
