Nitin Mukesh started his musical journey by accompanying his father on stage during his performances. He received extensive training in classical music and grooming in playback singing from his father, who remains one of the most revered voices in the history of Indian cinema.
Nitin Mukesh made his debut as a playback singer in 1978 with the film “Jaan-e-Bahaar,” but it was his collaboration with renowned composer Laxmikant-Pyarelal in the film “Karz” (1980) that brought him widespread recognition. The song “Ek Hasina Thi” from the film became an instant hit and marked the beginning of his successful career in playback singing.
